I too was in position to see Tate after the trey (we were second row on that side of the court, so perfect spot for it... you must have been just down the sideline from us!

I agree on your analysis, 2 wins (as long as one of them comes Wednesday night) should do the trick... they are helped by the unfortunate incident to MSU's star player, which weakens the Bobcats further.

It will be tough, because they aren't the best road team, and they essentially have to win two road games (can't see them beating Weber State)... they have the talent, and it will be fun to watch them try.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06120614209940641241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5489976410121533313.post-91390820138007737482012-02-13T16:27:18.454-07:002012-02-13T16:27:18.454-07:00It was nice to meet you at the game. My 800 Games ...It was nice to meet you at the game. My 800 Games Project write-up was just posted on the Mid-Majority -- typically of the 800GP, it's more experiential and less basketball-heavy, so yours is definitely the better source of actual basketball info. :)

Anyway, looking at the conference race, it appears to me that UNC can *probably* sneak into the conference tournament if they go 2-1 down the stretch, provided this Wednesday's game against Eastern Washington is not the "1." A win for UNC at EWU, followed by EWU losing at least 1 of its final 3 (at Idaho State, at Portland State, vs. Idaho State), should get the Bears into the tourney at 7-9 if they split their final 2 (vs. Weber State, at Portland State), I think. I'm making some assumptions there about who is likely to end up tied, so it's not foolproof, but that's my analysis at the moment.Brendan Loyhttp://milehighmids.tumblr.com/noreply@blogger.com
