I am counting down the top 20 players that are departing the Big Sky via graduation, transfer, or any other way.
Today, let's start by looking at the guys that just missed the cut on making the list of the top 20 players departing the Big Sky.
- Collin Chiverton - After last season, it seemed like Chiverton could be primed to lead the conference in scoring, but things just never developed in his senior year. After going through a lot off the court before the year, he struggled (understandably so) last season. He still took a lot of threes, but made only 33% of them, compared to 41% the year before. He did shoot better on two pointers, at 50.6%. However, his turnover rate almost doubled, and he continued to not get any assists or rebounds. He is talented, and I think everyone wishes the senior year would have played out a bit differently.
- Melvin Morgan - After shooting a solid 40% on threes his junior year, that dropped to a dismal 27% last year, but he still kept shooting them at the same rate (over 5 per game). The Bengals didn't always have a lot of offensive options (similar to Gabe Rogers and Northern Arizona), but this type of gunning hurt their offense. He has a decent assist rate, but didn't do a good enough job of taking care of the ball to make the top 20.
- Emmanuel Addo - Addo has transferred to Missouri State, where he will play his senior year. When things are going right, he can be impact player, with a nice outside shot (he was 32/75 career from downtown), and a variety of post moves. However, things didn't go right nearly enough last year, which is why he is moving on. His rebounding dropped to guard-like levels last year, and his offensive efficiency dropped as well. Hopefully he can get his confidence back for his senior year.
- Wade Collie - Collie was average seven points and over three rebounds per game last year for Southern Utah before he was arrested on drug charges and dismissed from the team. He had a ways to go to be an efficient player, but he did create some shot for them, and grabbed 15.2% of available defensive rebounds. He would have been a key contributor for them in his senior year.
Thoughts on any of these guys?

A Few More Transfers Out of the Big Sky
We looked at three transfers out of Northern Colorado, but let's take a look at a few more that are transferring out.
- Wade Collie (Southern Utah) - This one is probably not a big surprise, as there's no guarantee he would have ever suited up for the Thunderbirds again after his off-court issues during the season. Collie averaged seven points and four rebounds per game this year, though he wasn't the most efficient offensive player. SUU will be short on offensive firepower, so he could have had a big role on the team if he had been able to make it back.I am not sure about his status after his arrest earlier this year... anybody know more?
- Zach Ghormley (Southern Utah) - Ghormley played just 21 minutes as a freshman, scoring seven points and nabbing three rebounds on the year. To be honest, I don't know all that much about him. While it's never good to lose a guy you have just had in the program for the last year, I'm not sure he had a chance to make much of an impact in the program during his year. He seemed to be a versatile player coming out of high school.
- Jeff Budinich (Montana State) - Budinger was another guy that was involved in an off-court incident during his time, which resulted in a suspension for him and Tremayne Johnson being kicked off the team. While he had some range on his jumpshot, he didn't have a huge impact, playing just five minutes per game last season. He is a guy that should be replaceable for Brad Huse.
- Wayne Bradford (Weber State) - I am sure that Bradford is a talented kid, there was just no real opportunity for him at Weber State with the depth that they have, as well as the fact that he seems to have been recruited over with the guys they are bringing in. He played 55 minutes last year, but they were all in garbage time. Hopefully he will catch on somewhere, but there just was not really a place for him in a Weber State rotation, unfortunately. He averaged about ten points per game as a freshman in community college.

Southern Utah's Wade Collie Arrested and Suspended
Southern Utah has had trouble scoring at times this year. Those issues will be exacerbated with the news that third leading scorer Wade Collie has been arrested for alleged drug possession, and has been suspended indefinitely.
The Thunderbirds have a tough schedule down the stretch, and could have used Collie. But with the seriousness of the allegations, I am guessing we have seen the last of him this season. If the charges are true, hopefully the arrest can be the start of a chain to turn his life around.

According to the Iron County jail records, Wade Collie, 21, was arrested early Sunday morning. Few details surrounding the arrest were immediately available.Collie was averaging seven points and 3.6 rebounds per game, shooting 42% from the field and 39% from downtown. He was also solid on the defensive glass for them.
The county booking website indicates that he was being held on suspicion of having drug paraphernalia and of possession a controlled substance with intent to distribute it. Bail for Collie was set at $10,000
