Idaho State Gets Verbal From Sage Burmeister... For Basketball and Football

Well, you don't see this all too often.

According to San Diego Coastal Sports, Sage Burmeister has given his verbal committment to play basketball AND football at Idaho State.

On the basketball court he’s the reigning San Diego Division IV player of the year, after leading the Torreys to the Div. IV title and this season is averaging 23.1 points per game on the hardwood.

“His game is just what we like to call silky smooth,” as one Creighton assistant coach so elegantly put it. “His range from downtown is impressive, but with the way he gets it off so quickly you just know he’s doomed to be successful at the next level.”
He also had offers from Creighton and Eastern Washington. He is 6'1'', and could be another nice signee for Bill Evans. At the very least, you won't be able to doubt his athletic ability.

Thanks to ISU message board for the tip.
