The Lumberjacks have been practicing since Oct. 14. Head Coach Mike Adras welcomes seven returnees and eight newcomers to formulate the 2011-12 roster. Junior Gabe Rogers, the leading returning scorer, is expected to be out at least eight weeks after suffering a preseason injury. The Lumberjacks also return starting point guard Stallon Saldivar, who averaged 5.4 assists per game last season, and forward Durrell Norman, who averaged 3.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.If you are bored at home tomorrow night, live statistics will be available.
Exhibition games against low-level opponents aren't the most exciting thing, but hey, it's basketball! At the very least, Northern Arizona can get a feel for their rotation, and hopefully avoid what happened to Arizona earlier this week.
